Why it's more complex than programming a spare
When you have at least one working key, programming a spare just adds it to a list the immobilizer already recognizes. When none are left, there's no reference list — the system needs a full immobilizer "reseed," essentially resetting from scratch which keys the car recognizes.

A reseed takes longer than standard programming, and it varies by brand and specific immobilizer system. We'd rather give you a realistic expectation from the first call than promise something we won't deliver.
