ABS and StabiliTrak lights both on — which GMs are most affected?

If you have a GM truck or SUV from the 2003-2014 range with the ABS, Brake, and StabiliTrak lights on at the same time, it's not a coincidence — it's a well-known pattern on this platform.
Models and years most affected
- Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra
- Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban and GMC Yukon
- Cadillac Escalade
- Year range: 2003 through 2014
Why the module isn't a blind swap
The ABS/StabiliTrak module on these vehicles has to match your specific unit's RPO code (JL4, for example). Installing a module from a "similar" vehicle with a different RPO doesn't work correctly — it's one of the most common reasons a replacement "doesn't fix" the problem.
What we do differently
We confirm your vehicle's RPO code before any repair or replacement, and prioritize repairing the damaged circuit board instead of swapping the whole hydraulic unit when the mechanical side is in good shape.
