Engine, transmission, air suspension, comfort module, door by door, RFA, gateway and InControl exchange messages continuously, and nearly all of them store some form of VIN identity. That's why the same fault produces different symptoms depending on the module it starts in — and why the generic shop switches off the scanner after ten minutes and sends you to the dealer.

The modules that reach us most often
Ingenium and V6/V8 engine computers
Ingenium diesel and gasoline engines, plus the earlier V6 and V8 generations, with Bosch and Denso units. This is where most of what the driver knows as "check engine and no power" begins.

My trusted shop won't touch these vehicles. Can you work with them?
That's the most common scenario and the one we handle best. The shop removes the module and coordinates the shipment with us; we diagnose, repair and code it, and walk them through installation by phone. The vehicle never leaves the mechanic you trust.
I bought a used module and the vehicle won't accept it. Is there a fix?
Usually yes. A used module carries the donor vehicle's VIN and goes into safe mode. We virginize the unit and write your VIN and the correct configurations so the network accepts it as original.
How long does it take?
Between 3 and 7 business days in the lab, depending on the module and the coding required. We confirm the exact turnaround after diagnosis, in writing, and that's the turnaround we answer for.
How do I ship the module?
We give you removal and packing instructions and coordinate your shipment by courier to the lab, with tracking. You don't have to work out on your own how to pack an electronic unit.
Why is this cheaper than the dealer?
Because the dealer replaces the whole module and we repair the component that failed inside it. Same result for your vehicle, without paying for the entire board, the entire software and the entire wait over a few-dollar part that burned out.
